As you might’ve guessed from our motto – “where the spirit flies high” – Midwest City treasures its community above all else. Black Bear Diner is a proud part of that community and has gone to great lengths to make every visit a special one. Everyone visits our diner for the tasty food but its bear-themed decor and wonderful staff are always pleasant surprises for newcomers and seasoned patrons alike.

Oh my goodness! My boyfriend, mother-in-law, and I stopped in on a whim and was blown away. The service was AMAZING, his name was Daniel (ask for him, he's wonderful), the food was awesome. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Cobb Salad and it was amazing. I can't recommend this place and Daniel enough 10 out of 10 with out a doubt! Also not too expensive.

This place is a breath of fresh air for this area. Staff is always friendly. Food comes out hot and the wait for it is hardly one at all. This place has ENORMOUS portions. There is a lighter portions options on most menu items. I have been to this location on several occasions. This is my first review on Big Bear Diner and I think they deserve my time to tell everyone to check this place out!

Stopped by for breakfast with a friend. I ordered the vegetable omelet with red potato home fries. Very large portions but a little on the bland side. Hot sauce at the table picked it up a notch.. Overall a good breakfast.. some herbs in the potatoes would have improved them.
